It's refreshing not having a team in the playoffs this year. It doesn't take me an extra 45 minutes to fall asleep because I'm fired up from a close win or bad loss. It's like having a $20 bet on the Jets vs Texans, it's really hard to get too excited on the outcome. All I hope for this NHL playoff season is for the Pens to lose is the worst possible fashion followed by their jet going down somewhere in the south where Sydney Crosby survives only to find himself jettisoned from the plane, unable to move, covered in condiments from a rogue serving tray during the decent on top of a fire ant hill. Maybe next year Chiefs, uh, Flyers fans! [Reply]
The first round of the NHL playoffs is easily the best. You get home and hockey is on for 5-6 hours every night until teams are eliminated.
Not sure if there are any Blues fans on this forum (I imagine most from KC are St.Louis fans if they follow hockey?) but Binnington's performance last night was godly. [Reply]
