Nzoner's Game Room>Isaiah Buggs [released]
RunKC 12:33 PM 05-29-2024
Here we go again with the bad PR

#Chiefs DE Isaiah Buggs is facing two misdemeanor warrants issued by Tuscaloosa police for second-degree cruelty to dogs. Buggs is accused of leaving two dogs locked on his property with no access to food or water, according to @TuscaloosaPatch.https://t.co/gw6FfSdv43 pic.twitter.com/a0M5H1v7oy

Oh, I'm well aware, and I completely agree with it. But I also know many, many, many people here were willing to give Rashee Rice (and Tyreek Hill) the benefit of the doubt until all the facts were established. Tons of people were willing to jump through the most difficult of hoops in trying to pretend like maybe he wasn't driving or maybe x, y, or z happened.

Believe me - I think Buggs should be gone. But we can admit that we hold different players to different standards, just as we'd hold a player on another team to a different standard than their fans would.

Honestly not cutting Buggs might be the play here. Have him draw attention away from the antics of our starters. Just flood the world with Chiefs players arrested stories until everybody is desensitized and nobody cares anymore.

Are we sure it wasn’t actually Maxx Crosby??

BREAKING NEWS: #Chiefs DL Isaiah Buggs allegedly dragged his child's mother down the stairs, injuring her.

He broke into her residence with a tire iron at 5 AM, according to police.

This is his 2nd offseason arrest, following accusations of starving dogs.

Awful

So this very well may be something as simple as Buggs taking back a laptop or cell phone from some cheating hoe, then getting charges filed against him for burglary, which automatically gets the DV charge.
Broke into her house with a tire iron and drug her down the steps.

Maybe he was just trying to carry his laptop down the stairs and she wouldn't let go.

There are always 2 sides to a story and this feels like it’s missing a lot of context.

At face value, he would have been cut awhile ago.

Chiefs cut Buggs per Tom Pelissero.

Isaiah Buggs’ bond was revoked after his most recent arrest and he’s currently in jail as multiple legal cases play out. Bigger issues to worry about than football, and Kansas City is moving on.
