He was fantastic, hence my point above. He might have gotten them out anyway. Sadly, we'll never know and I am forced to bring up the umpires any time somebody tries to bring up that WS in response to something completely irrelevant. [Reply]

Maybe, we'll never know. I do know that hitting in a 3-1 count is statistically far easier than a 2-2 count and that didn't happen.
If you get to bring up that WS in response to any post about baseball I make that has nothing to do with it, I get to bitch about the umpires' wrongfully blowing a few calls in response. Seems fair enough to me. [Reply]
