Is that blood on the fingernails of the hand model in the pic in the OP? Sauce doesn't look dipped in yet. Anyway, none of the fast food stuff you buy will taste as good as it used to decades ago. None of it is made in the same way, and none of it is made with the same ingredients. For the most part that is a reaction to the financial realities of doing business that they deal with. Specifically Pizza Hut; a long time ago they made arrangements to expand into the old Soviet Union. It was a giant hassle. One big roadblock for them was that the agricultural infrastructure there was pure garbage. The Soviet Union could not grow grain or tomatoes of a high enough quality to make a Pizza Hut pizza. That amazed me at the time because I didn't think of Pizza Hut as especially good pizza here in the US. It still isn't. But I may try this cheeseburger thing just to see what it's like. I will probably find, once again, that I can do much better in my own kitchen.

Main problem I have with Pizza Hit now versus the old days is the dough. Their bread sticks and pan pizza ALWAYS had a nice fresh crunch with a soft inside until they switched to frozen dough. Now more often than not it's like trying to bite off a piece of a leather shoe. I'm guessing some locations are better than others in their prep, but the one by me it's basically a 1 in 4 chance you are getting bread that doesn't try to pull your teeth out.
